Houselink & Mainstay (HLMS) is forming a Tenant and Participant Advisory Committee (TPAC). It’s to ensure tenants and participants have a strong voice at HLMS.

The committee will advise management and the Board on programs and services at HLMS, give suggestions and ideas, and help prioritize what’s needed to improve the overall quality of life for tenants and participants.

About being on the Committee

  • Committee members will be voted in by Houselink & Mainstay tenants and participants.
  • Any tenant or participant can nominate themselves to be elected to the Committee. You must nominate yourself by no later than June 6, 2022.
  • There will be a maximum of 12 members on the Committee to start with.
  • Committee members can participate for either one or two-year terms.
  • The longest they can be on the Committee is for four years.

What the Committee will do

They will:

  • Meet regularly (at least 6 times a year)
  • Give recommendations to management and the Board about HLMS programs and services.
  • Listen to and communicate with other tenants and participants about what the Committee is working on
  • Facilitate community Town Halls

Committee Member support

Committee members will be supported by staff and members of the Board’s Quality Committee. There will be support for technology, transportation, food, leadership training, other help as needed.
